Bambino is a peer-to-peer marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of used baby products. This Return Policy explains your rights and responsibilities when a purchased item is not as described, arrives damaged, or the wrong item is sent.
Please read this policy carefully before buying or selling on Bambino.
Returns are accepted only in the following circumstances:
Bambino reserves the right to make final eligibility determinations on a case-by-case basis.
Upon delivery, buyers have 48 hours to inspect the item. The inspection window begins at the timestamp Bambino receives delivery confirmation from our shipping carrier.
After the inspection window closes, buyers have an additional 72 hours to submit a return request through the Bambino platform if they have a valid claim.
Total window from delivery to return request: 5 days.
No return requests will be accepted after this window has closed, regardless of circumstance.
Photo requirements: Buyers are responsible for photographing the item at the time of delivery if they intend to make a condition-based claim. Photos must be submitted with the return request. Bambino cannot accept claims without supporting photo evidence.
Once a return request is submitted:
Sellers do not have the authority to unilaterally accept or reject return requests. Bambino makes all final determinations.
If a return is approved by Bambino:
If the returned item arrives at the seller in a damaged condition, the buyer's refund may be forfeited. Bambino will review photos submitted by both parties to make this determination.
If the return shipment is lost in transit, the buyer must file a claim with the carrier. Bambino will hold the escrow funds for up to 30 days while the claim is resolved. If the claim remains unresolved after 30 days, Bambino will make a discretionary determination based on available evidence.

Return shipping costs paid by the seller will be deducted from their held escrow balance before any remaining funds are released.
When a return is approved and the returned item is confirmed to be in acceptable condition:
Bambino holds all purchase funds in escrow from the time of purchase. Funds are not released to the seller until the 5-day inspection and complaint window has passed with no return request submitted.
If a return request is submitted within the 5-day window, escrow funds are held until Bambino reaches a final determination. Funds will not be released to the seller while a return request or dispute is under review.
